“The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.”

- Albert Einstein

The CORE ISSUE

Planet Earth, our home, is on fire. A fire that we set. Our consistent harmful agricultural practices for our food, releasing of fossil fuels to power our cars and homes, and producing industrial products have come at a mortal cost. After decades of abuse, Earth has struck back with an unmatched vengeance. Floods have left huge chunks of countries underwater, ruining millions of homes, and led to the end of innocent lives whose cries for help were muffled by the rest of us. Increasing fires from rising temperatures have led to the death of innocent animals. Increasing droughts take us out one by one in an agonizing fashion. If we as a society keep abusing the Earth, it will come at the expense of our planet and the safety of future generations. Here is the harsh truth: Earth is burning and to be honest, we are only adding fuel to the fire. If this generation doesn’t step up, then there may not be a next generation. The power rests in our hands to change. Time is running out.

OUR MISSION

ClimateGuard seeks to lower carbon emissions through fighting for and implementing various renewable energy and climate related projects in order to strive for a green future. We not only strive to lower emissions with the completion of projects but also inspire fellow citizens to join the fight for a better tomorrow through various outreach programs such as blogs, art programs, and more. We believe there is not only 1 way to fight Climate Change, rather Climate Change impacts everybody of all races, religions, sexuality, and professions to the point they all have a role to play in our fight against the Climate Crisis regardless of who they are.  Through volunteering and collaborating with local, national, and international organizations, we seek to make sustainable practices common, rather than a rarity.
